I didn't get any notification that you had responded to my posting...?? Just happened by and saw this. John Bennett of Hamburg Germany came into this country in either 1847 or 1848. (says both in 2 different census.) He and his wife had 10 children, though only 3 were living as of 1910. I don't know of any connection to a family in Pa. But what happened with his grandchildren off my grgrandmother's siblings' lines, I don't know.
