The estate was apprised in October of the same year. Upon her death in 1742/43, Mary willed the bulk of her state to her son, John, and daughter, Ruth. A point of interest is that all subjects of his British Majesty were required to assemble for worship each Sunday under penalty of a fine in either cash or tobacco.
