He (Thomas Bennett, born c 1811) is my direct ancestor and I have yet to connect him to where in England he was born. Thomas Bennett said in the 1850 census that he was born in England but I have yet to discover WHERE in England so maybe I could pursue his parentage. Please let me know if you find that George Bennett had a brother named Thomas born about 1811 who may have immigrated to the US about 1840 /- 5 years.
