But to answer some of your questions here, Susan was not Jones' widow. She was his first wife and preceeded him in death. Their son, John R. Bennett was our gg grandfather. His second wife, Emiline Doster, also preceeded him in death. As far as we know, the elder Lewis only had sons but there may be a connection through their daughters in marriage or marriage to these sons.
