My family came to this area by way of North Carolina, South Carolina, Ga, and Alabama. Some went on to other areas. I know that my cousin had a brother who lived in Florida for a while. His father passed away in 1978 in Ga. There may be some type of clues hidden somewhere within the area. My family states that there was two different groups of Bennetts that came through the same areas. Maybe you could look at that prospect. Some of them settled in Franklin County Ga, close to Anderson, South Carolina. Hope this helps.
