Hello, fellow listers! I'm just starting my research into my Bennett line and I'm in dire need of help!! My ggg grandparents were SARAH BENNETT and JACOB PHILLIPS. They married in Randolph Co.,VA/WV on 11/13/1817. SARAH was Jacob's first wife and she must have died by 1827 because he married Catherine Johnson that year. SARAH and JACOB PHILLIPS had three known children: James, Asa and Bennett. SARAH'S father is listed as JACOB BENNETT on her marriage registration but that's the extent of the information I have on her or her family. I am fairly sure the BENNETTS I'm looking for are from the Randolph Co.,VA/WV area, maybe into Barbour Co., as well. It appears this family is quite extensive so if anyone has any information on them I'd be eternally grateful! Does anyone know where SARAH BENNETT PHILLIPS is buried or when/where she died??
