His occupation was listed as "carpenter" in 1850. At the time of the 1860 census it appears he was living in Quitman Co., GA and his occupation was given as "blacksmith". (Quitman County was created from Randolph and Stewart counties on Dec. 10, 1858.) Thanks, Leo [email protected]
