Thomas says he is age 39 and from England in the 1850 census of Louisa County. He died 30 June 1853 in Louisa County while enroute to Oregon. His wife was 4 months pregnant but made the trip with a 5-year-old and a 1-year-old without him.She died in Oregon. I am looking for ANY record that indicates where in England Thomas Wood Bennett was born. My hope is that someone on this list has this critical information for me. My Thomas Wood Bennett is NOT the same as the Thomas Wood Bennett born 1826 in Bramley, Yorkshire. Thanks in advance, Greg
