My grandfather was John or James Bennett. He was married to Esther. They lived in San Francisco and both had about 9 siblings each. My grandfather is supposed to have been born on a Cherokee Reservation...but his mother was Irish. I would really love to find out about this side of my family. However, their is no one left to ask.
