His wife Margery ws born 1511, both died in 1564, this may be questionable for Margery's death date though. Notes for John ; The earliest known home of the Bennett family was ina little market town there in Wiveliscombe, about nine miles NW of Taunton, itcontained about 1500 people. The town properly pronounced Wilscombe, is ancient place. The church that now stands serves as a parish records place dateing back to 1558. The ancestors of this descention goes back to one or more barons of England and there is some more history to this but on with the descention of John. ******* Leroy Ellis Willie Esq is the source this descention and all of it is to his full credit, Leroy and I are three way cousins.
