Feb 1844 Buffalo Township, Linn County, Iowa Biographical sketches of Ezra F. and Elizabeth state that their father Ezra moved with his wife (Unknown) and children from Rhode island to New York in 1815 before dying at sea. Ezra’s widow relocated to Canada where she died years later. Benoni moved to Linn Co., IA with his wife Sarah Allen. Elizabeth also moved to Linn Co., IA where she married Edward Millis Crow and taught the first school in the county. Ezra F. moved to Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties, where he married Amanda Rathbone.
