We come from a line of Beard's and happen to have reoccuring in that line the name Agnes. As a coincidence, my dad was a Bennett and that is why I am on this list but our Bennett line came from Bethel Maine and also someplace in New Hampshire. The Beard line first shows up in Beard's Hollow (Cobleskill, New York) area through Jacob L Beard. Thank you for any light you can shed. "Ted D.
