Well, don't think our Bennett's are the same, mine came before 1790 and ended up in Pennsylvania until 1800 when they moved to Ontario Canada. Basically was wondering how common the Bennett name was for Germans. Mine married German girls and I know that the girls didn't speak much English. Thanks for replying to my message tho' Lisa
