My husband Steve was the son of Rufus Bennett Jr, who was stationed in Grand Island, NE during WWII. Steve never met his father, as parents divorced. Steve's mother is now deceased, and we feel more as ease in starting our search. On Steve's BC Rufus is listed as born in Catonsville, MD. Census records show Rufus Jr. in Catonsville in 1930, age 10. Parents Lillian and Rufus Sr. Brothers James B Bennett and Samuel B Bennett. Rufus JR. died in 1976 per SS records. That is the full extent of what we know. We all would love to find any family members that are related in any way. Life is getting short (and sadly too late to meet Rufus) > Carol Bennett, Alda, NE > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message > > > -- > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG Free Edition. > Version: 7.1.409 / Virus Database: 268.13.27/517 - Release Date: 11/3/2006 > >
