    3. I am descended from the following family. The settlers in this area of Susquehanna County were predominantly from Connecticut families with some families from New York. Does anyone have information about this family, especially Daniel. I have not been able to find his parents. Thanks in advance. Cindy Franklin Arkansas Alternate email address: meshoppen@hotmail.com Generation No. 1 1. DANIEL F.1 BENNETT was born Abt. 1814 in Pennsylvania. He married EUNICE CRANDALL. She was born Abt. 1814 in New York. Their children are: 2. i. FREEMAN2 BENNETT, b. April 18, 1842, Pennsylvania; d. August 28, 1907, Brooklyn, Susquehanna, Pennsylvania. ii. EUNICE J. BENNETT, b. 1848. Daniel F. Bennett is listed on the 1840 census in Auburn. He was a farmer. On the 1850 census he is listed as Dan Bennett. On the 1860 census of Auburn, Daniel is listed as D F Bennett & there is a notation that he a pauper who has been bedridden for 18 yrs. In his household is his wife Eunice, daughter Eunice, 20yo, listed as a teacher, Freeman, 18yo, listed as a farm laborer, Emmanuel (?) 25yo, listed as wagon driver; and Daniel, 22yo, listed as a farm laborer. Emmanuel & Daniel were not listed as Daniel's children on the 1850 census. I am suspicious that they may be nephews sent to help support this family. Daniel F. does not show up on the 1870 census. Presumably he had died by that time. Only his wife, Eunice, and daughter, Eunice, show up together in a household. Generation No. 2 2.
