He was born in 1842 in Stweart County, Tennessee. He married Mary Francis Parrish in abt. 1865. J.P. died in Calloway Co. Kentucky in 1919, his father was Joel Bennett, born 1818 in North Carolina. Married Mary Jane Geurin. Joels father was William, born in 1766-1795 in North Carolina, died 02 May 1831 in Stewart Co. Tenn. He was married to a lady named Nancy? she also died in Stewart Co. Tenn. abt. 1832. If anyone has info on these people, please send it to me.
