He was married in 1850 to Eliza Prow Keith and living with her parents, John and Elizabeth Prow and their other 2 daughters. Eliza also had her 2 children, Francis A. Keith and Mary Elizabeth Keith living with them. In 1851 Abijah and Eliza had a son, John T. Bennett. In 1860 he was married to another woman and I can find no other info on Eliza Prow Keith. Abijah and Eliza were born in Indiana. Her first husband(unknown Keith) was born in Kentucky. I believe Ashael Bennett is Abijah's brother. He married a Brice of Brice, Mo. and their daughter, Louisa married Francis A. Keith, who is my husband's gg grandfather. Do you have any info re: Eliza's 1st husband or what happened to her after John T. Bennett was born? I found Abijah's grave in Lone Rock Cemetery out of Windyville, Dallas County, Mo.
