I am seeking information about the family of William H. Bennett. He was born c 1798. He married Lydia Shelby on August 19, 1819, in Wayne County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Joshua Shelby and Susannah. Lydia was born c 1801 in Mason County, KY. She died in 1891 in Richmond, Wayne Co., IN. I have no further information concerning this couple excepting that they do appear in the 1850 Federal Census. They were living in Wayne/Union County, Indiana. I should like to learn the names of the parents of this William H. Bennett, when and where he died and was buried, and whether any issue resulted from this union. I am able to provide information concerning Lydia Shelby's heritage. Any assistance shall be appreciated.
