BENNETT-Terry R. Bennett, age 53 of Covina, CA passed away on May 28, 2006 at San Dimas Hospital. Terry was born on April 5, 1953 in Augusta, GA. He is survived by his wife Michelle Bennett of 20 years; Grandmother Florence Bennett, Limestone, TN; Father Donald R. Bennett, Limestone, TN; Sons: Jason R. Bennett (Kristen), Hemet, CA, David A. Azuela (Maria), Austin, TX; Daughter: Amy N. Ford (Vincent), San Dimas, CA; Two Grandsons: Peyton R. Bennett and Austin B. Bennett of Hemet, CA; Granddaughter Lauren M. Azuela of Austin, TX; Sister Nancy C. Weber (Donald), Limestone, TN; Brother David W. Bennett, Buellton, CA.Terry came to California in 1957 and was raised in Buellton. He attended high school at Santa Ynez High, where he and his teammates won the State Football Championship in 1969. He loved and excelled in all sports and could always be found at the sidelines cheering on his beloved grandkids. His hobbies included golf, cycling and enjoying the open road on his '65 Panhe! ad Harley-Davidson or his yellow '55 Ford pick up. Terry was a generous and caring husband, father, and friend who truly enjoyed the simple things in life. Most of all he loved being surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren.
