According to the 1860 and 1870 Census of Patrick Co., VA, he was born in 1810 in VA. He was a blacksmith. I can't find him anywhere else. Henry BENNETT married Nancy House Hamner 17 Jan 1828 in Caswell Co., NC. They lived a lot in Pittsylvania and Patrick Counties, VA. They had the following children: John Henry, b. 1831; m. Martha Adeline DUKE. Willie, died young. William Henry, b. ~1836; m. Mary Frances L. HUGHES. Martha Jane; m. Joseph T. MAY. Elizabeth; m. William A. CLARK. Minerva A.; m.
