My brick wall is Alfred Mc. Bennett. He was born abt 1813 in NC and at some point moved to Marshall Co., TN where he was in the 1850 census. By 1860 he was in Dallas Co, MO where he died in 1875. I believe he could be a brother of Moses G. Bennett who also lived in Marshall Co, TN & Dallas Co., MO. Alfred was married at least two times, the last spouse being Mary M. Fuzzell who he married in 1851 in TN. I believe there is a family connection the Fox, Wollard and Hardison families of TN. Alfred's children were: Cynthia (married Nort Smith), Lucinda (married Peter Myers), Margaret (married William Morrow), Nancy D. (married Nathaniel Myers), Alfred Lovin (married Sarah Brooks) and James Jacob, (married Sarah McCray). After Alfred's death the widow and children moved to Texas and then to OK. Alfred had children by his first marriage that probably stayed in Marshall Co, TN they are Martha, Malinda, Franklin and Thomas. Does anyone have any information on this group of Bennetts?
