I am researching the Bennett line that includes Moses (Thurston) Bennett. I have found this name as Moses or Thurston or Moses Thurston, and wonder if it is indeed the same person. Both names with SIMILAR dates ( c.1843) have been found in Lamoille, Cambridge, Vermont and also in Waterville, Kansas. Both names have been married to Matilda Tracy born c.1847 - SIMILAR dates. Can anyone identify this person as one and the same? And when did they move from Vermont to Kansas - and why? The Thurston Bennett line I am searching had a son Albert b. 1877 who married Susan Chilson. They had a son, Wayland Carlyle Bennett b. 1905, who was my husband's grandfather.
