The one I know of was the son of Crayton and Joanna (Joannah) Kimberling Bennett of West Virginia. The one I'm speaking of was born in Mason County, WV Mar 15, 1866 and died in Chillicothe in July, 1953. He also had a brother they called Ed but his real name was Lewis Edgar. He also had several other brothers and sisters that I can name. He had 3 sisters that lived here in or near Chillicothe, also. One of his sisters (actually a half sister) was my great aunt. Her name was Dessie Jividen, then married Robert Bost. Harley's father died in 1864 and then Harley's mother, Joannah, married my great grandfather, Ezekiel Jividen, Aug. 22, 1901. Dessie was born July 5, 1902. Ezekiel died Dec 5, 1907 and Joannah died Mar 20, 1915. I have a copy of Harley Bennett's obituary and it has his picture with the obit. If you think this is the Harley Bennett that you are inquiring about and if you except attachments, I will scan this and send it to your regular email address and any other info that I can think of. The picture isn't real good but it gives you an idea of what he looked like. Also, if you think this is the right Harley, would it be possible for you to scan the picture that your family has of his mother and send to me? I sure would appreciate that. I sure hope this helps.
