Their daughter, Imogene, was born Nov. 26, 1852, died Feb. 14, 1935 Philadelphia. She was married to Jules C. Wellens. Joseph was a well known clothier in his day. His business was at 518 Market St., which is now the location of the Liberty Bell. He gave to many Methodist organizations thoughout his life and left much of his estate to them and the University of Pennsylvania. His worth was at $3 million. Josephs parents were : Samuel H.
