He was a Civil War vet, he died in Saratoga 4/25/1896 @ the age of 56, he is buried in the Greenridge Cem. in Saratoga. I remember my Mom saying when I was little that he is buried somewhere around the monument as you first enter the Cem., His wife Lucie is buried in Maplewood Cem.(She was struck and killed by a train, I have a copy of the newspaper obit) Amber
