We have he was born in Carrville, but the rest of the info you gave matches. It is a distant branch on our tree (Gosden/Ball, Ball/Turnbull, Turnbull/Southwell, sister of this Southwell married a Bennett). We we have Bennett members and a large ancestry of Bennetts.
