I can say that I was told that my materna grandfather John Bennett was born on a cherokee Indian Reservation. His parents were supposedly an Indian and a white Irish. I now have a copy of my mothers birth certificate and it shows that my mother was born at 26 Wolverton Avenue, Kingston, Surrey. The birth cert shows no father but gives details of Violets mother, "V Bennett" living at Richmond Park Road, Kingston, Surrey. Any help or pointers will be greatly appreciated.
