The male line carrying the family name only continued with Cam Bennett's son James Strickland Bennett who had only one son, William Martin Bennett, 1878 - abt. 1929. He had two sons - William Martin, Jr., and Robert Harold, born 1903 and 1907, respectively. Hi All. Happy New Year. I seem to have dropped off the mailing list for some reason, anyway back again. My Bennetts were living at 17 Great Chapel St. Soho, Westminster from 1841 to 1861 - they go back to the 1700s at St. Anne. William Bennett of Westminster married Mary Eliza Marks of St. Mary Newington, Surrey (Greater London) 1825 and their descendants moved to Kingsland, Battersea and Chelsea. Father was James born about 1873 and he was married to a Hattie ( last name unknown) and James's mother's name was Rachael. Leo married Pearl Elizabeth Gerke (1899- 1986) and they had 4 children, Albert, Clifford, Luella and Gaylord Raymond ( my dad ) That's all I know for now, anyone with these names please feel free to contact me!
