He came from New York State, was a schoolteacher, and I think I found him in Blue Earth County, Vernon, Minnesota. I descend from his older sister, Lavicia "Vicie" Bennett, born Feb. 14, 1837. Vicie Bennett married Isaac C. Crow, born Aug. 24, 1823. Martha Cansada Crow was Isaac's younger sister. Vicie Bennett and Isaac C. Crow were my ggg-grandparents. Be happy to exchange files with you on Bennetts, Crows, Normans. Have you found anything on the Padgetts? All I've found were that 2 Padgett sisters married 2 Bennett brothers. In addition to the marriage you listed above, Lavicia "Vicey/Nicey" Padgett born Nov. 2, 1796 married Green D. He and my mother were divorced when I was 2 yrs. old. I am now 57. All I know is that he was from Ohio and had an aunt named Pearl. He had been stationed at Charleston Air Force Base, Charleston, SC around 1943 ( I was born in 1944). He married Ayrese Harvey and I was his only child that I am aware of. I last heard from him in 1963 when he was in Palo Alto Calif. but I lost his letter before I could reply. That was the only time I heard from him. Please, please please send me any info on my father and family that you can. I have been trying for years to find out if I have brothers or sisters and cousins. What can you tell me about my father?
