Right now I am only at Sea Captain Anthony Boagey, and his daughter Ellen Boagey, who married James Bennett on March 27, 1869 in Leeds, York County, England. James Bennett's fathers name was George Bennett's. Both these Bennett's were Miners. When James and Ellen were married on March 27, 1869, the handwritten marriage certificated states that James was 21, and Ellen was 20 at the time. Would anyone have any connection to these people? He was taken from a children's home to live with a Giles family in the Torch Lake area, Atrium County, Michigan, but was not adopted. His daughter Bessie Leona Davis, born January 27, 1909 last saw him in the late 1920's in Pontiac. Her mother is Ethel Mae Bennett. We believe Claude Leroy's mother to be a Verda Blythman and his father a James Davis. His mother may have been as young as 14 upon his birth. Any information regarding Claude Leroy's ancestors or whereabouts after his disappearance would be greatly appreciated. Ethel Mae Bennet was born July 22, 1882 in Attica, Lapeer County, Michigan and died November 29, 1951. Her mother was Harriet E. Smith and her father William Nathaniel Bennet. In addition to Bessie Leona Davis, Ethel had a son named Harold Churchill by another father. Any further information would be greatly appreciated.
