Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/BRD.2ACEB/2430.2832.1 Message Board Post: Hmmm, it's not matching with what info I have. I know this Col. Joseph M. Bennett has to fit into my family somewhere, otherwise the newspaper article wouldn't have been saved. I'm curious now as to whether this might have been another Rachel in that family. I have Rachel Bennett Miller as coming to the United States at around 1869 with children Alexander, James, Mary, William, Agnes, Jeannie, twins Violet (who died as a baby) and Isabelle, and Elizabeth. I also have spouses and children listed for all of these. It struck me funny because it didn't say anything about Rachel coming with a husband or any other adult. It was just her and the 9 children.
