Both deceased by a Ferry accident drowning on 8/6/1899. Both were born in 1869. They came to Maine from Massachusetts. Mrs Bennetts maiden name was Browning and she was a native of London.Charles Wood ..a banker..in Boston was her cousin. Mr. Bennett was a bagmaster for Maine Central at time of his death in 1899.
