We are now looking in VA, NC, IN, ILL and TX.. Most of my Bennett family is from IN, ILL and TN.. We have a Benjamin N. Bennett born in NC. His father was John Madin Bennett from Brunswick, VA and then they moved to DeKalb County, TN.. Benjamin had a brother named Richard S. we know nothing about. One of these, most likely Richard, could be the father of your Issac. I have a greatuncle named Isaac (Ike) Bennett born in the 1850's.I don't know where he went from TN and or ILL.. I also don't know where his brother went , his name was Tilman. I do know my greatgrandmother ended up in Parker County, TX and maybe he is why they went. She named one of her son's after him. His name is Tilman Bethel Creach. My greatgrandmother's name was Sarah Candis Bennett and she married John Charles Creach in TN.. So, your Issac could be my Issac. William Asbury Bennett b: 1825 (possibly in North Carolina) traveled with a brother ( name unknown ) to Georgia where they settled near Nashville, GA. Nashville is now in Berrien Co. At the time that they settled Berrien Co. didn't exist so Nashville would have possibly been in Irwin Co. William died 1864 and is buried in the Bennett Family Cemetery 3 miles south of Nashville, GA. His brother left after a strong misunderstanding and was said to have settled in Texas. I am seaching for the parents and siblings of William and his brother. Also his brothers name and any of his family after leaving Georgia and moving on to Texas. Any help would be appreciated. There was Claude, Walt, Maggie, Luddie, Maude, Roxie, and another daughter Stella or Zella. All the children married and moved in and around Naylor and ENola Faulkner Co, Ark. I know where Hazard Perry is buried and all of the children except for Stella/Zella and Maude,Want to find out where they orginated from and who there parents was.
