I did However grow up in Washington state and My father (Robert Lyle Bennett Sr.) thinks I may be having problems finding anone before my grandfather because he was half Cherokee. I do know that I am suposed to be related to Bennett's from Oklahoma and Texas. anyway all I have is the following Information. Murrell W. Bennett Sr. 1945 - Present Janice Bennett Cardoza (in the 50s??? gota ask) - Present My Dad (Robert) has 3 kids My Uncle had one son that I know of My Aunt has 3 kids The Names Robert and Lyle also seem to be spread throughout my family (My father mentioned a Cousin in WA named Robert and I have a great uncle name Lyle (HI.)) My Bennett line goes back to New England, my great=greatgrandmother was Harriett Bennett and married into the Brown family, her fAther was Daniel Bennett, I know se had a brother Rueban who died in the west but not known to be married. If I find more I'll let you know. I believe that John is John Morgan Bennett who married Mary Lee Stewart in Estill County KY in 1891. John and Mary would have moved from Kentucky to Indiana between 1902 and 1909.
