Married wife in possibly 1919 or 1920. Listed on US census records in 1920 from San Jacinto County Texas.Couple had no children yet. As of 1930 Census, couple divorced w/4 children. My existing aunts and uncles never have spoken of first marriage. All older people who would know are deceased. I only found out about prior family recently. Wife's name was Dora? (1920 Census) Children names are James, Cleo, and Francis, no one knows 4th child. I am just curious about they're whereabouts, if they're even alive. Not looking to open old wounds.

    3. Unfortunately I do not have a Peter or Abagail in my notes. What I posted was about all I know about my Bennett line. I looked at the Bennett census information that I have copied from some of the Syracuse census records, but did not find a Peter or Abagail. I do not currently have access to census records. When I was researching the records, there were census enumeration districts specific to Indian reservations. Maybe someone on the list can direct you to a particular area and/or enumeration district where Stockbridge indians were located. Hope that helps.
