I have a Josephine Bennett who md Samuel Henderson in Dec 31, 1848 Newton Co, Ga. Josie was born ca 1828 in S.C., has anyone any information on her and who her parents could be? She named her children: Mariah L. Mary Malinda. Troop Anna. William. Ally T. John. Thomas Daniel Robert. Family migrated to Marion and Lawrence Co, Ala by 1850. Is there anyone have any of these names in their Bennett line and from Newton or Jasper or another county I am not awhare of. Need to get over this brick wall. He was a Civil War vet, he died in Saratoga 4/25/1896 @ the age of 56, he is buried in the Greenridge Cem. in Saratoga.
