Hello, I have an Isaac bennett born in Tipperary ireland ~1827. He immigrated to Halifax ~1850 and worked as a laborer as noted in the 1851 UK census. By 1861, Isaac was dead but his wife lived in Halifax. In close proximity were two other families of Bennetts whom I assume were brothers to my Isaac. Eventually, some ofthis family immigrated to US. The story is told that two of these, Ike and ---- Bennett were tap dancers in the late 1800's and lived in New York. This is all I know. The only Archy Trickey in Arkansas that I know of was the son of Drewry and Annie Bell Trickey of North Carolina. Archy was born in Cadiz, Trigg, KY in Jan of 1870. All I know of his wife is that her name was Martha and that she was born in Nov of 1875 in Arkansas. Archy and Martha had (at least) two daughters, Lola (b. Feb 1897 in Center, Pope, Ark), and Wilma (b. Oct 1899 in Center, Pope, Ark) You'll find Archy in 1880 in Richwoods, Lonoke, AR and in 1900 in Ceneter, Pope, AR. The bad news is that Archy's father is part of the clan that traveled out of North Carlolina/Virginia to Missipppi, Kentucky and Arkansas. The reason that is bad news is that they seem to be obvious descendants of Giles Trickey who migrated form Devon England to Person/Caswell County in North Carolina. But nobody I know of can tell you what that connection might be.
