Searching on 1901 census for a lizzie or lizzy born between 1864-1874 in Hathern i found what i think is her, married but no sign of Lucy: Charles Northfield/31/Gt. Staughton, Hunts/Railway Signaller/Head of Family Lizzie M Northfield/31/Hathern, Leics/Wife Beatrice A Northfield/5months/Bulwell, Notts Res: Lenton area of Nottingham BMD index shows Charles Northfield married Mary Lizzie Bennett Apr-Jun 1899 Basford, Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire. Odd that her middle name and first name mixed up but seems to definitely be her as Lizzie M on 1901 census. Have found Lizzie's mother Elizabeth on 1901 census also, she is living with her 2 grand-dau's Merle Bennett and Annie Bennett both aged 13 in Bulwell, Notts. Merle's birthplace is given as Hathern and Annie's Nottingham. I suppose it may be possible that Merle could be Lucy, as one of her middle names starts with an M. Pure speculation but maybe if you order her birthcertificate it will tell you her full name: Lucy Agatha M..... Hope this helps Kind Regards Donna

William “Bill” J. Bennett 1929-2006.………….OBIT On August 29th, William J. “Bill” passed peacefully in his sleep after a long battle with cancer. He was a fan of baseball and enjoyed many years and memories coaching his three sons. Of all Bill’s joys and loves in life, nothing touched his heart more than spending time with his grandchildren. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Ann; sons, William B., Charles W. and Erick P.; daughter-in-law, Eileen Smith; brother, Walter “Rusty”; and grandchildren Brittany, Skylar, Lauren, Jeni, Emily, Rylin and Christina. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/BRD.2ACEB/6238 Message Board Post: I am a descendant of James M. Bennett & Mary (AKA May) Bacon Bennett. James was born 3/11/1836 & died 10/17/1897, Mary Bacon Bennett was born 6/2/1837 & died 7/16/1920. According to the 1880 census some of their children were Bartow, Lugene(?), Donnie(?), Oscar, and Eula Bennett who is my GG Grandmother who married Sylvestus Chamblee in 1879. James & Mary are buried at Bethlehem Cemetery in Forsyth Co. We are pretty sure that James is the son of Peter & Anna Bennett who are also buried at Bethlehem Cem. According to the tombstone, Peter was born 9/27/1806 & died 3/12/1878, Anna was born 12/17/1819 & died 1/9/1881. When I looked at the 1850 census, I found Peter Bennett (HOH), Anna (Wife), and several children, Edmund, Drury, James M., & Nancy. We aren't sure if this Peter is James' father or mere coincidence. My Mom found a pedigree of a Peter Bennett dating back to 1533 but this Peter Bennett was born in Wilkes or Wilkes Co. GA. I doubt it is the same Peter Bennett but you! never know. I saw in several of the messages on the message board that there are possibly 3 lines of Bennett's in Forsyth Co. If you have any information you could pass along to me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Joni Smith [email protected]
