I'm also a decendent of John P. Bennett and Hannah Baker, by the youngest child (Elnora Bennett) of their son William Henry. According to a bio of John and Hannah's son Daniel which was published in 1882 (while Daniel was still living), John and Hannah had a total of 13 children. I have info on the seven you've listed and would be happy to share what I have. I'm very interested in your listing of Hannah's parents as I've had no luck finding a link between our Hannah and any specific Baker family in Dutchess, although I've found a group of Baker families who repeatedly used the given names of Hannah, Josiah, and Edmund. If you are willing to share your source, I'd love to know how you found her parentage. Were her father and mother the Josiah Baker family enumerated in Steuben County, New York in 1820? If so, do you know where they are buried? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. There were Bennetts that came to New England - went to Virginia - Tennessee and the south that were offspring of the 3-4 original English Families of Bennetts. I have New England, Tennessee and a trace of Virginia Bennetts (I think related) in my lines. Immigration around 1650s and migration from my direct lines in the late 1800s, but evidence that relations may have existed in Va and TN before then...it's just untangling the cousins.
