Does anyone know anything about my Reson Bennett (b. abt. 1808 in KY; d. about 1852) and appears on the 1850 Jackson Co., TN census with the John Cates family? Reson may have had two wives: one was called Sally (per 1850 Jackson Co., TN census) and one was called Jane (per 1860 Jackson Co., TN census). I believe my Nancy Jane's mother was Sally.
