Born February 22, 1948, in Princeton, he was a son of Maxine Akers Robinette of Eades Mill Road, Princeton, and the late Roby Belcher. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Belcher and his step father, J.L. Robinette. In addition to his mother, Maxine Akers Robinette, he is survived by his wife, Judy Hampton Belcher of Bluefield; one sister, Drema Belcher of Princeton; and four brothers, Thomas Belcher of Alabama, Roby Lee Belcher of Ohio, Jerry Belcher of Princeton, and Steve Belcher of Bluefield. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens
