Ona Jane Belcher Thomas, 72, died May 22, 2000 at the home of her sister, Elsie Freeman in Kingsport, TN. Ona was born in Norton, VA, and the daughter of the late Samuel Columbus Belcher and Lakie Rhoton Belcher. Ona was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey L. Thomas. Ona is survived by three daughters, Sherril W. Overton, Victoria W. Holland, Ona Lea Freeman; four grandchildren, Sherril Leigh Ann Wynn, Shanna Lea Gripp, Casey Lea Freeman and Andrew Madi- son Freeman; two great-grandchildren, Colten John Wynn, Savan- nah Leigh Wynn; three sisters, Leora B Hash, Cora B. Powers, and Elsie B. Freeman; and many, many beloved nieces and nephews. kt050
