Yes, I realized after I sent the message that I should have stated where he was from. Henry Belcher, born abt. 1779, was most likely born around Russell or Tazewell County, in Virginia. His son John was most likely from the same general area. Henry's grandson, also named Henry (could have been Henderson and went by Henry), was born in Virginia, apparently in Buchanan County, on Rock Lick Creek, and then moved to what is now Logan County, West Virginia. I was told that he and his wife are buried in Logan County somewhere. I'm trying to pin down where it is. The information as I have it: Henry Belcher, born abt. 1779, married Millie Prince. John Belcher, born abt. 1816, married Mary "Polly" Fuller, born abt. 1820 Henderson "Henry" Belcher, born abt. 1834, married Rebecca Toler. James Crockett Belcher, born abt. 1854/55, married Patsy Mounts, born September 19, 1855. His second wife, and mother of his six children, was Mary Ann Knight, born February, 1856, in Virginia. Henry Wyatt Belcher, born in Guyandotte, West Virginia, on December 6, 1888, married Minnie Delphi Altizer, born in Verner, West Virginia, on May 7, 1901. Arthur Leeland Belcher, born in Robinette, West Virginia, on November 25, 1919, married Anna Alice Farley, born in Norfolk, Virginia, on March 5, 1920. I am Arthur Leeland Belcher, Jr. That is as far as I can trace my line back to the Belcher's in Virginia. I know Henry connects somewhere, but I don't know who his parents were.
