Not much on Leonard, but you might try writing Walter to see if he could give you any leads on Leonard. He may have lived all his married life in Mercer Co, but may not have been born and/or raised there. (My grandmother was a Belcher, b. McDowell Co, where she grew up, but then she lived the rest of her life in Bluefield, Mercer Co WV.) I will check one more source for you too, but it would help if you knew his father's name.
