Does anybody out there have any info on my great grandparents, Simon & Celia Belcher? Simon was born 1831, Claiborne County, Tn. and Celia was also born in Tennessee. I think her maiden name may have been Testerman. I found a Sialah(Celia)Testerman on one of the Gen Forums that married a Simon Belcher. This has to be my great grandparents. They lived in Blackwater, Va.(Lee County). One of their sons, McClelan Belcher, born 1866, Lee County, Va. was my grandfather. I think Simon may be the grandchild of Bartlett and Alice Lawson Belcher. Simon's birth is listed on Bartlett's Rev. War Pension Application. Any info appreciated.
