I too am looking for a William H. (Henry) BELCHER, but I know where he was, but would like to know who his father was. Did either of these two Wm. Henry Belchers have a father, grandfather or uncle possibly named Wm. H. Belcher? My Wm. H. was born 20 Feb 1819 in Madison County KY; d. 4 June 1897 in Boone Co. MO. His mother was Nancy WINN BELCHER, father unknown. Evidently Wm. H. & Nancy came to Missouri about 1834 with her family, James and Nancy Agnes Johnson WINN. Any help with this father will be appreciated.
