Born Jan. 8, 1940, in Smith County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Edith Denton Bowling. Sshe was preceded in death by 1 daughter Teresa Karen Belcher; and 1 brother Doug Bowling. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Robert Joseph Belcher of the home; one son, Robert Joseph "Bud" Belcher Jr., of the home; three daughters, Sherry D. Mitchem, Patty Lewis and hus- band Bill, all of Huntington, Pamela Belcher of Anawalt; five sisters. June Pippin of Warriormines, Lucille Clark of Princeton, Mae Evans of Welch, Alberta Green and husband Jerry of Welch, Mary Belcher of East Pointe, Mich.; one brother, William Bowling of Statesville, N.C.; seven grandchildren and a special friend, Ernestine Armstead of Upland. Burial will be at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton.
