Hi List, I heard that Enoch Belcher b. 4-17-1853 in KY m. to Lousia Belcher It is believed that John "Westley" Belcher b. 1815 m. to Anna Moore b. 1815 in VA is not Enochs father ? I heard there is a lot of different opinions on this. I'd like to hear them. It is said that Anna came back to KY after separating in VA with John and that John was supposed to have been married to another woman at the time Enoch was born. (although no record of this marriage is to be found) It was also said that Enoch has no father listed on his birth record. Enoch is my 2nd GGrandpa. I've asked around in the family and was told by a few that he was a Mullins !!!! So I have no doubt that he was a Mullins. Now my question is who is his Dad. The story goes that Enoch named his first son Booker. I know from another line of mine there is a Booker Mullins which would of been at the right time frame for all this. Nobody seem to know his fathers first name. I sure would like to know if it is Booker or not. I welcome any and all comment on this !!! I'm also going to ask my Mullins cousins if they know anything about this. My Greatgrandpa Arvil (Orville) Belcher named one of his sons after Enoch and he had said to his daughter Debra that his papaw Enoch was a Mullins. Thanks, Cynthia
