Hello everyone, This is great! Another way to find Belcher ancestors, not to mention cousins you never knew ya had. I hope someone out there can help, trying to find info on Belchers from Kanawha County, W.Va., Campbell's Creek area. My 3rd great grandfather was George Belcher b- abt. 1760, m- Sally Powell. They had only one son together John b- 1783:d- 6/27/1859 (Sally is believed to have died at giving birth.) on Campbell's Creek in Kanawha County W.Va.. John Belcher m- Jane Taylor 6/24/1822 They had a son William Henry Belcher b- bet.1826/27:d- 1912 on Campbell's Creek, he m- Frances Ann Moore. Together they had 5 children William Henry, Jr., Martha, John Lewis, Norman and Estes Marinda Belcher b- bet. 1861-1863:d- abt.1906. Estes Marinda Belcher m- James Jackson Hackney 12/20/1885. This is the branch I so hope someone can help on, I'm looking for any info. Thanks in advance. Anita :)
