She was born Aug. 20, 1928, in Gilbert, daughter of the late James Wesley and Myrtle Cook Belcher. She is survived by her husband, “Gean” Clifford Ellis, whom she married Sept. 21, 1948, in Pikeville, Ky., and a brother and spouse, Bernie Clark and Janet Belcher, of Westover. She was preceded in death by her only child, Nickey Jerome Ellis. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 15, at Hollywood Cemetery, in Gilbert,WV.
